My squirrels, (or the ones that think I put out bird food just for them) are so lazy now they just sit under all the feeders and wait for what falls out- or hide until it time to feed the doves!
I really like those feeders. And yes the squirrels will have them figured out in no time, but they're fun to watch. We've only got a suet bag up this year, and the chickadees, nuthatches, and woodpeckers just love it. I haven't seen the big one (pileated) at the feeder, it may be too close to the house for his comfort. I always love coming and seeing your pictures here. Smiles, Leigh
I swear the squirrels living around me are part of the Red Squirrel Flying variety; they are definitely exellent acrobats. Pickles is amused endlessly watching them. Wishing you a wonderful loved filled New Years all the year through. (Hugs) Indigo
I'll bet he had it all figured out before you could even post this. --Cin
ReplyDeleteAnimals--wild and not so wild--are way better entertainment than TV, aren't they? Lisa :-]
