I know I haven't been posting much lately. I mean, how many times can you write about some of these blithering idiots before you find yourself, repeating yourself. However, the hissy fits over the Supreme Court rulings continue. Rick Santorum's unsolicited advice is just one of them.
Honestly, I think half these twits get law degrees so they can go into politics. Apparently they don't really plan on using them any longer than they have to. There appears to be zero comprehension on how this government was meant to work. And in my not so humble opinion any potential candidate who puts his or her religious book above the constitution should be automatically and permanently disqualified from holding any elective or appointive office.
And memo to Sarah Palin. Disagreeing with your point of view is neither a high crime or misdemeanor so impeaching the justices that handed down an opinion you don't agree with is a non starter.
In case no one ever explained this to any of you (you'd think this would have been covered in law school at least) the judiciary is the third branch of our government. And just as independent, in theory, as the other two. Federal judges were meant to be appointed, not elected, to insulate them from nitwits like you. And me, I'm not too fond of either the appointment of G W Bush as president or of Citizens United, but there it is. If you don't like the results you try to use the remedy provided for in the constitution. You try to amend it. However, LOL, it only takes thirteen states to block you and I'm pretty sure we have them .
