FOXGLOVES

One of the four foxgloves we planted last year. They are supposed to be perennials so we'll see next year. I ordered four and three of them have already split two for one. They're such a wonderful strawberry color and they're about a month late.

I think digitalis is bi-ennial; but they also self-seed. So you may have quite a patch of them in a few years.

Your Foxgloves are lovely!! I've always had a thing about Foxgloves. I know this may sound silly, but for some reason they always remind me of the mystical fairies I read about as a kid...

According to the description from the nursery these are supposed to be true perrenials. So we'll see next year. And yes I can see the fairies using them for hats.

We ordered four and so far three have split two for one so I'm looking forward to their mulitiplying.
