THE OTHER FLOOD THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN

That also ranks with the sun standing still over Jericho. I guess it would make sense if the world was flat.

However, the earth rotates at about one thousand miles per hour. That means that everythng on this ball of dirt and stone is moving at about one thousand miles per hour. You, me, the oceans, the rivers, dogs and cats and elephants all about to be forlorn. Unicorns too, if there were any.

It wouldn't matter who won at Jericho. The tidal wave from the Mediterranean would see to that. Followed by the Atlantic sweeping Europe and most of Africa clean. I suppose the Pacific would have washed up on the Rockies.

Funny how the Babylonians, Persians, Assyrians, Indians who were all keeping fairly detailed records didn't leave any entries along the lines of "sorry for the thirty or forty year gap. We're just getting around to rebuilding. Not very many scribes survived the Great Smash Up  when the literally turned upside down. Also sideways, and any direction you could think of. Haven't found very many Hebrew survivors and Jericho is flat as a piece of unleavened bread.
