BEADY EYES 2

Lazy cat's bird watching position. Horizontal, cuddling all the softness, eyes semi closed. Nothing moving but the eyes. At least until something interesting flies by. Or belllies up to the seed bar.

One of the care givers has a bird watching cat with a feeder next to the window. The birds are used to the cat. They know they are safe and they have "attitude." As in perching right next to the window and basically doing the bird version of "neener, neener, neener."

Now these aren't teasers. Yet. Some of them have realized that there may be a black "something" on the other side of the window. Not really a hazard but worth watching. And I can't help wondering how the world looks to a critter about eight inches long.

There is some seed on the balcony floor that started out as a spill. The birds are also ground feeders so that gets replenished. The window sill is just wide enough she can hang out there too. So she's got the feeder and the lower level to watch too. It's great. She's much more active and learning to trust more people. And that is a very good thing.
