At least some of the armed traitors on January 6 fully intended to take the Vice President of the this country prisonor and lynch him in full view of the Capitol building. The Speaker of the House was also on the hit list. I don't know how they planned to kill her. 

At best. At best members of Congress would have been taken hostage. The demands? We don't know. At best the end to the count of electoral votes and the certification of a duly elected candidate for president halted. Right there is a great argument for ending the electoral college. Yesterday. A corrupt wanna be dictator has held the country hostage for two months alleging that the vote was rigged and he really won. 

 Now the party that has been telling half the country "we won, suck it up Buttercup" is asking for understanding, unifying, be the nice liberals that don't want to offend anyone. Guess what Kumbaya is off the top one hundred. You make nice with us, Clean up your party or you'll be on the shelf with the Whigs.

But hey, we all watched this coming. The "I really won the popular vote in '16 if you count the votes right." "Maybe I won't step down next time even if I lose" accompanied by tRump's trademark smirk. A whole year of predicting that there would be fraud. And finally the screams of "I won, I won, I won. You just aren't counting the votes the right way." Translation: "too many of the wrong people voted.' To I don't know how many lawsuits tossed out. Allegations are just that. Allegations. When it came time to present those allegations under oath with perjury at the other end of the tunnel even Giuliani had to admit there was no fraud.

So here we are. The blowback from a murderous,destructive mob and a president watchig it on TV as if it was giant ice cream sundae with double whipped cream and a jar full of cherries on top. He sent them up Pennsylvania Ave. and said he would be with them. Scurried back to the White House to watch the mob he released to work destruction.
