THE EXCUSES GET BETTER AND BETTER (WORSE)

Whe will we be able to go into DC when we wish. Walk on the mall when we wish. When will the people's house become the people's house be ours again?

 I was listening to some of the lawyers for a couple of the rioters and the excuses are just too much. "He never really intended to what? Throw a fire extinguisher at a cop? Enter a building with a mob? His commander in chief needed him?" One of those defendants in question is a retired fire fighter. Last time I heard the fire chief of his city was his commander not the president of the US. Chirs Cuomo was looking a little gob smacked at times. I understand that this person is entitled to a defense in a court of law. I hope these excuses go nowhere.

But as long as these rioters do not admit what they did. Understand that this was an attack on the foundation of our democracy. Until they admit that what they did was wrong, that it was based on four years of lies from a would be dictator who was too inept, really, to bring it off there isn't going to be any hands across the aisle, let's sing Kumbaya from me. Forgiveness comes after admission of wrong and sincere repentance. Not before.
